1. Constantly learn

They are continuously learning new things, and never rest when it comes to improving themselves. From reading books, to always asking questions, successful people never stop learning.

2. Think bigger

Looking further into the future, their goals and plans take the big picture into account. It is easier to project a trend for the next five years than it is for the next five days.

3. Plan ahead

Taking the time to plan ahead allows for better organization, knowledge of what to do, and the flexibility to know what to do when things do go off course. Successful people understand that failures will need to be a part of the plan, that they are temporary roadblocks to the greater goals. And the goals along the way are milestones to keep striving towards.

13. Meditate

At times it can be difficult to disconnect from all the to-do’s and calm your mind. Successful people understand this, and take a moment each day to meditate, and center ones-self during the day. Often 20 minutes in the morning is enough to keep you focused and in the moment the rest of the day.
